Type of Parenting Services Offered

A Parenting Evaluation, or a Psychological Evaluation with Parental/Parenting Component, is a Psychological Evaluation that assess a parent's psychological functioning and wellbeing along with his/her ability to be an effective parent to his/her minor child.

These evaluations are typically requested by an attorney or ordered by a Judge during a civil cases (i.e. dependency, divorce, or custody).

According to

 F.S 39.522 (2)

(2) In cases where the issue before the court is whether a child should be reunited with a parent, the court shall determine whether the parent has substantially complied with the terms of the case plan to the extent that the safety, well-being, and physical, mental, and emotional health of the child is not endangered by the return of the child to the home.

Our Home Study is conducted by a Social Worker or Psychologist and the findings are reported directly to the Court or the requesting attorney.

A Parenting Plan is required in all cases involving time-sharing with minor child(ren), even when timesharing is not in dispute. The Parenting Plan must be developed and agreed to by the parents and approved by the court.

In instances of high-conflict cases, a Parallel Parenting Plan, can be completed. This allows for limited contact/engagement between parents and is a more detailed approach to a parenting plan.

We offer supervised visitation with parents and minor children. Our supervisors are trained and proficient in providing all requirements of court-ordered visitation.
