COVID-19 Precautions

Coronavirus concept

Central Florida Psychological Consultants, Inc., wants to assure you

We are taking the necessary steps to keep you safe during COVID-19

In accordance with Centers for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines, our office has implemented additional safety measures to keep our patients, staff, and providers safe. We are monitoring the guidelines closely and making necessary changes as they are directed by the CDC.

At this time, our office is requiring masks for those that are not vaccinated. Those who have been fully vaccinated and can provide proof of a vaccination card will not be required to wear a facial mask while in this office. If you are sick and showing signs of a cold or flu we ask that you please do not come into this office and instead inquire about virtual options (if applicable) or reschedule.

In general, people are considered fully vaccinated:

  • 2 weeks after their second dose in a 2-dose series, such as the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines, or
  • 2 weeks after a single-dose vaccine, such as Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen vaccine

If you don’t meet these requirements, regardless of your age, you are NOT fully vaccinated. Keep taking all precautions* until you are fully vaccinated.

If you have a condition or are taking medications that weaken your immune system, you may NOT be fully protected even if you are fully vaccinated. Talk to your healthcare provider. Even after vaccination, you may need to continue taking all precautions.

If you’ve been fully vaccinated:

  • You can resume activities that you did prior to the pandemic.
  • You can resume activities without wearing a mask or staying 6 feet apart, except where required by federal, state, local, tribal, or territorial laws, rules, and regulations, including local business and workplace guidance.

*The precautions as defined by the CDC include:

  • Wear a mask
  • Stay 6 feet away from others
  • Get vaccinated
  • Avoid crowds and poorly ventilated spaces
  • Wash you hands often
  • Cover coughs and sneeze
  • Clean and disinfect
  • Monitor you health daily
