Chelsea Suriel, MSW, LCSW

Chelsea Suriel is a dedicated mental health professional with more than a decade of experience supporting individuals across diverse stages of life. She is a proud graduate of the University of Central Florida (UCF), where she earned both her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and her Master of Social Work.

Fully bilingual in English and Spanish, Chelsea provides culturally competent and comprehensive clinical services to a broad range of patients. Over the past 10 years, she has developed extensive experience in the field of psychology, including more than a decade of service with CFPC. Her clinical background includes administering psychological assessments, conducting thorough psychosocial evaluations, and providing individual psychotherapy in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Chelsea’s therapeutic approach is compassionate, patient-centered, and grounded in evidence-based practices. She specializes in supporting individuals experiencing behavioral or mood concerns, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, adjustment difficulties, relationship challenges, and grief. She offers individual psychotherapy for older teens through the geriatric population, fostering a safe and welcoming environment for clients to explore their experiences and work toward emotional well-being.

In addition to her clinical work, Chelsea is highly experienced in conducting police pre-employment psychological evaluations for public trust positions, including law enforcement officers, firefighters, and emergency medical personnel. Beyond her therapeutic role, she also oversees the daily operations of the practice as the Chief Finance Manager, ensuring quality, consistency, and compassionate care across services.

Outside of her professional life, Chelsea is an avid traveler who loves discovering new places with her husband and their dog. Her appreciation for connection, culture, and exploration enriches the empathy and perspective she brings to her work with every patient.
