Amy L. Eicher, MSW, LCSW

Licensed Psychotherapist & Business Manager

Amy Eicher is a graduate of the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Social Work degree from UCF. She has worked with Central Florida Psychological Consultants for more than twelve years and has fifteen years of experience in the field of psychology.

Amy provides clinical services in a variety of settings including outpatient and inpatient locations. She provides comprehensive testing by administering psychological and neuropsychological assessments and conducting psychosocial interviews. Her work also includes mental health evaluations, diagnostic clarification, and assessment driven recommendations across a wide range of presenting concerns.

Amy has experience in individual case management services, forensic interviews, bariatric screenings, pain management assessments, parental evaluations, DCF related services, and mental health assessment in medical and forensic environments. She also conducts law enforcement pre employment evaluations and fitness for duty evaluations for public trust positions including police, firefighters, and emergency medical personnel.

She specializes in the following areas: behavioral and mood changes, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, adjustment and transitions related to college, relationship strain, eating concerns, self esteem and body image, and a wide range of mental health related needs.

Amy has completed the Florida Forensic Examiner training offered at the University of South Florida. She also has specialized training in Cognitive Rehabilitation through the American Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine, United States Courts Pretrial and Probation Training, Intensive Mindfulness Training, and HIPAA Compliance and Patient Privacy for Mental Health Providers. Additionally, Amy serves as the Business Manager where she acts as the representative of the practice to other professionals, clients, and agencies.

In her free time she enjoys spending time with her husband, their children, and two dogs, kayaking, and exploring new sights and cities in Florida.
